Gisele Bündchen is setting the record straight regarding recent allegations of infidelity. In a New York Times interview discussing her cookbook, “Nourish,” the supermodel addressed rumors suggesting she cheated on her ex-husband, Tom Brady, with her current boyfriend, Joaquim Valente. Bündchen firmly refuted these claims, labeling them as “lies.” She emphasized that such accusations are unfortunately common for women who exit unhealthy relationships, facing judgment and stigma from their communities and families.

While not delving deeply into her current romance, Gisele Bündchen hinted at its unique nature compared to her past relationship with Brady. Describing it as “very different,” she highlighted that it marks the first time she has been romantically involved with someone who was initially a friend. This shift, she noted, brings a refreshing level of honesty and transparency to the relationship.

Bündchen’s statements come amid ongoing speculation about her love life. Reports surfaced earlier this year suggesting she began dating Valente, her jiujitsu instructor, in June 2023, following her divorce from Brady in October 2022. However, Bündchen dismissed claims that their relationship started years prior.

The Brazilian supermodel and Brady were married for 13 years and share two children. Following their divorce, Bündchen’s association with Valente fueled further speculation, especially after they were spotted together on a trip to Costa Rica just weeks after her divorce filing. However, Bündchen had previously praised Valente’s positive influence on her life and her children, emphasizing their close friendship.

As Bündchen continues to navigate her personal life, she remains committed to dispelling falsehoods and embracing the authenticity of her current relationship.
