In a recent makeup tutorial video with Vogue, Ariana Grande got real about her journey with beauty, including her past use of lip filler and botox. The “thank u, next” singer didn’t hold back, sharing her thoughts on her evolving relationship with beauty and how it has impacted her artistic process.

Grande revealed that she had used lip filler and botox in the past but decided to stop in 2018 because she felt like it was “too much” and made her want to hide. She spoke candidly about the pressure she felt as a child star and how it influenced her perception of beauty. “Being exposed to so many voices at a young age… it’s really hard to know what’s worth hearing and not,” she shared.

The singer explained how makeup became a form of disguise for her and a way to hide behind something. However, she emphasized that she holds no judgment against others who choose to get beauty treatments. “Whatever makes you feel beautiful, I do support,” she said.

Grande also expressed her changing perspective on beauty, revealing that she now embraces her natural features and hopes to see her smile lines deepen with age. “I wanna see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines,” she said. “Aging can be such a beautiful thing.”

Throughout the video, Grande emphasized the importance of authenticity and self-acceptance, encouraging others to embrace their unique beauty. “For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me, and now I feel like maybe it’s not,” she said.

As she continues to navigate her journey with beauty, Grande’s openness and honesty serve as an inspiration for fans to embrace their own imperfections and celebrate their individuality.
